What We Do
Our aim is to create exciting, natural and fun images. Our portrait photography is about you, so we want you to have a great experience with us. Imagine something special that you can share for years to come.
Every shoot is different and no two people are the same. We allow the time to capture beautiful and special portraits creating images that show an individuals personality shining through.
Location, location, location
Young children's portrait sessions usually take place in the morning. We recommend we start straight after breakfast and take pictures throughout the portrait session. An early start means that your children are fresh faced and excited about the exciting day ahead and gives us plenty of time to play; whilst making use of the best available light.
Pictures can be taken at your home or we can shoot at a location you and your family enjoy, such as the local park, the woods, stables, a beach or a even a combination of locations. Photographing children in familiar outdoor enviroments offers a wider picture taking opportunity and lends to more natural, relaxed and fun images.
In our photography we like to capture the natural and spontaneous essense in our images and therefore we like to limit the amount of posed and staged group shots. Especially with children, the majority of the time is spent just watching and photographing the interaction they have with their surroundings; playing on swings, riding bikes, playing with pets...fun things that children love to do.
Modern & Contemporary... Our Studio In Your Home
Whilst we have raved on about how wonderful location pictures can look, we also know that many of our clients will want the more high-key, modern and contemporary style portraits; crisp white background and striking vibrant colours reflected in a fun and funky image.
If a vibrant, modern style of image is what you want but in the convenience of your own home, we can bring our studio to you. This option is only available for up to two children and is of course dependent on the size of your available room. To set up our studio and have a safe working space, we require a clutter free room approx 10ft by 10ft. If you are uncertain, we can visit your home beforehand to ensure the room is adequate in size.
